I am reading the book Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki for the second time to learn the things I missed out when I first read the book in 2002. Its now 13 years later. Why did I take all this time to get back to this book is my question I ask myself. After all this book by Robert Kiyosaki holds so many secrets to creating wealth and would have helped me to get to my goals so much faster. I am intrigued by the tagline on the book - "What the rich teach their kids about money - That the poor and middle class do not!"  I am excited to get started and the paragraphs below are what I have gleamed so far from page one in Chapter 1. I had this email flip over into my mail box this morning talking about being resilient. Its not easy to see resilience working for you. You must firstly go through some very hard times and then decide that you want to fight and come back and win or survive the ordeal. but it doesnt happen overnight. Its a slow process. It will take a lot of failing forward and commiting to growth everyday placing yourself on the razor edge of life to win against all the setbacks and negativity that may pull you from overcoming the hardship you been through. You can decide everyday to be negative or positive. Every decision and thought counts. You may wonder what I mean by the statements above and how can they apply to you, or your team or clients. Let me explain.... A few months ago a very prominent judge in the US was jailed for indecent assault of a minor. Just imagine a person who upholds the law doing this. The judge was jailed for 10 years for this grave mistake he committed.
